Need Help!!!

    The babies fall out sometimes when they are just on the cusp of flying....still too weak to really do it but getting close. For that reason you might not have to keep it very long as it will be flying shortly.

    Tashi ...it is flying short distances.more like hop hop short jump with wings in flying position. I have a really bad record with birds...dogs ,kittens even squirrels I am more confident. I am scared of holding it .....it is so delicate.It is scared .....poor thing.

    It looks like pigeon baby to me. Baby sparrows look more light brown in color and smaller than the bird in the picture

    nah...not a pigoen baby.I havehad two sets hatched and fly off in the last two years. Now I am wondering if it is a sparrow....it looks too delicate and the hair/feather are really soft .It is not eating. The beak looks too delicate for manual feeding.:-(
    My daughters are trying to feed....lets hope they have better luck.

    You can use filler (ink filler) or injection syringe to feed it . if it is unable to eat by itself.
    Gently tap on it's beak. The impulse will be to open its beak.. Then you can feed it thru the filler or syringe

    The birdie likes my daughters better. It is climbing on their hands.:)Hope it eats something.

    It's beak is so small....I will see ,if it doesn't eat...then I will try.
    It just pooped on my daughters head.:-D
