Need Help - How to calculate percentage for Graduation and Post Graduation courses?

    Hello ILs

    My friend required my assistance in calculating % of graduation marks for graduation and post graduation. Since I am not sure about the ancillary subjects, I thought of asking you.

    Graduation :- B.Com


    1st year :


    1. Language-1
    2. Language -2
    3. Financial Accounting
    4. Business Laws
    5. Principles of Economics

    2nd year :


    1. Banking & Financial Systems
    2. Company Law
    3. Business Management
    4. Corporate Accounting
    5. Business Statistics & Operations Research
    3rd Year:



    1. Cost Accounting
    2. Management Accounting
    3. Practical Auditing
    4. IT Law
    5. IT practice

    -----------------------------------------

    Just curious to know For Post Graduation will there be any ancillary subject? if so, then will it be only for 1st year?

    do give your response for both UG and PG courses.

    hai frnd....

    first calculate total marks of ur main subjects , dont languages.
    ex: in ur first year u have only 3 main subjects , so conducted marks is 300 , if u got 240 in all of three subjects , then calculate 240/300 = 80% is ur first yer percentage....

    so like this u can calculate all years % individually like above ok .....



    if u want total bcom % at a time ....


    count ur main subjeject conducted marks ( maybe 1300 )
    and count ur actual marks which u got in exam and calculate % ok

    hai frnd......

    as usually ..... count ur main subect marks and howmuch u got .
    and divideurmarks /total main sub marks and then multiply with 100 . that is ur %

    what I meant is how many ancillary subjects for PG. one subject and only for first year?

    regarding UG, one ancillary should come in second year right? and final year purely main subjects isn't it?
