Need Buddy for weight loss of 30Kgs

    I am looking for a buddy who joins me and keeps me motivated to loose 30kgs weight.I will share my plan if you join me..My target is to lose 30kgs in 45days..before my B'Day...

    Welcome to the world of keeping fit.
    I too am trying to lose weight.


    However, here are my few suggestions:

    losing 30 kgs in 45 days is not practical.
    You have to give the body its time to go down on weight.

    Here is my story:

    When I was 25 years, I was overweight by 12 kgs.

    It took me a period of 1.5 years to reduce that weight.
    I did a lot of things: Exercises, dieting, fasting, spent money on VLCC

    It did show effect, I became really thin.

    But not in 45 days.

    If you start dieting, it will take time for the body to adjust to it new metabolism.

    If you go on soup diets (which you can), you have to do it in smaller sections. Go for a diet for 3 days, lose some water weight.

    Once you start exercising, muscle builds up , so weight tends to increase.

    Now after having a baby at 30 years, I am back to my previous weight, because I did not watch my food habits in the last 2 years. I am now trying to make small changes in life.

    My target now is to lose 10 kgs in 7 months, which is 1.5 kgs or approx 3 pounds per month.

    The ideal weight loss every health diet suggests is one pound per week.
    The ratio works like this:

    To lose one pound, 35oo calories have to be burned.
    which is 5oo calories per day.

    so if you limit your calorie intake to 1200 calories and you spend around 2000 calories per day, the net would be a loss of 3500 calories per week or one pound.

    Good luck with your weight loss.
    Do not lose focus and all the best. The hard work is rewarding.

    OMG , 30kgs in 45days?
    Are you aware of the consequences in losing weight drastically?

    Ideal weight loss is max 3 to 4 kgs a month with a healthy diet back up and exercise.
    Please reconsider your choices and start losing weight the healthy way.

    I am here to join you to loose 20 kg., but your target period is too short.....I am agree with Nisha.....so plan it for your next birthday......I also planned to loose 24 kg. but in 1 year i.e. by next 27th July, 2011.

    Please share your plan. Hopefully, we will get success in next 1 year.

    hi shanthi even i need to loose 30 kgs. i alrdy lost 4 kgs in a week by naturopathy treatment... it was a combination of walking, vegetable/fruit/herbal juice diet,yoga,dynamic exercise,streching and naturopathy treatments like massage,banana leaf bath,mud bath etc etc...
