hi ladies..i'm from india...last month we came to wellington, nz on my husbands work....i completed my pg in biochemistry...and had no experience..i'm ready to do job related or not related to my studies...i dont want simply sitting at home...can anybody give suggestion for me...
Hi Sasi, getting a job in NZ is difficult especially if we are from India. Kiwis need good reference and exact skillset match to give us a job. Like say you worked in dot net for 8years, you can get a job as a developer here in dot net. But finding your first job or changing the line of work etc is much difficult here. Its not as big as US or UK too. So need to be very wary even spreading your cv here. Alternatively, you can study some course here and then start applying for jobs with reference. seek.co.nz is a start to look for jobs. I know its boring with the cold weather and new city but thats the story of our (migrants) lives Good luk with ur job hunt!
