@chanchitra did you watch the documentary on netflix? How was it?

 

I wouldnt want you to waste your precious time on unnecessary unwanted stuff so my suggestion would be to follow reviews and then go for it if you are really invested in such shows.

ME - no. Honestly after watching and listening to more and more of what they do and how they did what they did - be it general life, politics, their life choices, I am very much convinced of not wasting my time in watching those shows.

And to address what she wrote to Dhanush in a public letter, it seems like the pot likes to call the kettle black!

Movie industry is such where a lot of things happen more than the other industries that we see and know of. So vindicating Dhanush in this as if he is the villain and claiming that she is the one affected by it is a classic case of 'victim mode'. Also, its more than a few years now since she got married and i honestly feel its a ruse to get people to get hooked to her wedding video else who else is gonna watch it without hype?

And she seems to have mentioned about her past affairs and such naming a dancer and another 'little super star' - well she is forgetting that she is equally to be blamed in ruining a marriage of the dancer too.

Seriously why these public letters? Why cant people just deal with things with real maturity and talk to the person they have the issue with than all these drama?

 

I believe Nayanthara did the right thing in airing out her grievance in public.
There will be people on both sides so, this is more of her having peace of mind that she said it than anyone vindicating her.
Nayan's complaint is that he does not digest other people's successes.
One example is Sivakarthikeyan. They don't see eye to eye and Dhanush seems to expect Siva to bow in front of him with arms folded just because he gave him a stepping stone into the movie industry. Every success of Siva is tormenting Dhanush and it will evident of everything happening in this front ( from Siva occasionally lamenting about this to Dhanush's behavior ).
Dhanush's attitude towards his ex-wife Aishwarya leaves a lot to be desired. There is a video in youtube for an event hosted by Siva ( before he became a mainstay in movies, probably '3' movie event ) where Dhanush embarrasses Aishwarya standing on stage where he goes on and on about how he is so great and Aishwarya couldn't help but get attracted to him. Aishwarya was beyond embarrassed. This talk was the stark contrast with the normal portrayal he shows of himself to the world.
So why should Nayan air this out?
Nayan did not do this Netflix series for money as she is still at the helm of her career and making loads of money. This is very personal to her. Something she wants her children to see someday. She has been through a lot in her life with her various love failures where men took advantage of her. Vignesh changed things for her and she wanted to capture that slice of life in this series once she agreed to do this series. Dhanush did not have any reason to deny the few moments of their memories than spite.
Dhanush talks the big talk in his speeches portraying that he is down to earth and humble all along while he carries jealousy and wickedness to those who succeed around him. For someone who suffered at his hands and seeing his public portrayal, I think it is a matter of time before they burst. Today it was Nayan. It will be others in future who will do the same.
