    There are many home remedies that one can try in order to get relief from insomnia. As it is a disorder which can bring on many adverse effects with the prolonged condition, it is imperative that the condition is addressed with natural remedies at the earliest to find a long-term relief from the condition.

    take 2 table spoon milk + 1/2 tea spoon khus khus (poppy seeds) + 2 - 3 threads of saffron. soak for 2 hrs and have 2 hrs before sleep..

    it gives nice and peaceful 8 hr sleep...

    A peaceful mind is needed to get good sleep . We should try not to take our anger or disappointment or sadness to bed with us . It is difficult, but we can try our best to take mind off from all that , by reading a nice book like comedy or light stories , nothing heavy .
    One trick you can try : wash and dry feet in cold water before lying down or leaning in bed . Let the feet get cold under the fan . Then pull a blanket or thick sheet over the feet legs and upto chest . As the feet warm up , your eyes will start drooping with sleep.
