Went to an Indian restaurant this weekend.
Ate plentiful of Indian delicacies served in authentic copper ware . After having good meal we ordered saffron kulfi n Carrot halwa for desserts which were served in mud pots. The smell of mud pot was mesmerizing!!! And the desserts were very tasty ...Yum Yum Yum....Slurp Slurp Slurp!!! :tongue

Ah!!! I was so happy to get a feel of authentic Indian food here in USA.
The huge variety & flavors in food and the mouthwatering sweets & desserts are the matchless jewel of Indian culture :thumbsup

Wow! Happy for you ....I am a foodie too.

What I find most interesting is that each region has its own equivalent for a dish, for instance if you have pongal in south india, you have a khicdi in the north - basically dal-rice mixture, if you have kadi in the north, you have more kozahambu in the south
