    Sheeba,
A feeling that evades every mother/parent...you are'nt jealous dear..how can you be????it is just that we mothers feel so unsecured of our children moving a lil far and being independent. We are so used to hearing amma , amma all the time...that as and when we see our lil ones grow , we tend to still visualise them as the tiny ones that always require our attention.
Justified feeling...infact my DD and DS are just 3 yrs and the distance that is now was not when they were young as 1 yr olds...
but now it is not that they are away from mom, the love for mom is still the same, it is that they have learnt to walk , run , talk so they want to enjoy doing the same and not sticking into mom's arms all the time now.

Love to you and your DD
    Kavitha.

    Oh sheeba !!!
this is what i have felt often .
this nothing but possessiveness .....though happy that the kid is growing right , we feel the separation that this will bring about in near future.

the poem right from your heart ......... lovely
