I am gratified and humbled by the response and review of my book.there are ten reviews all with 5 star rating.I wish to share a couple of reviews as afterall what are friends for-share our joys& ---------.Sln From India Aaftaab Vakil 5.0 out of 5 stars Short entertaining everyday life stories Reviewed in India on 23 July 2021 Verified Purchase Read it initially as part of amazon unlimited but did buy it as soon as I was done reading as I want to keep it with me in my Library. Really short stories (before I realised it, I finished 15 of them!) Very entertaining and end with a meaningful lesson. Since the author opens with him being in his 80s, the style of writing and words used, reminded me a lot of my grandfather and his speech especially the tone and topics on giving out life lessons/moral science lectures/advice. I plan to adapt some of those stories and pass it on to my kid. I hope the author does not assume he is at the end of his intellectual rainbow and continues to write... R.Krishnan 5.0 out of 5 stars The Preface itself is a real eye opener for parents and children also. Reviewed in India on 23 July 2021 Verified Purchase This is an excellent book which is sure to be loved by one and all. The warnings enumerated are not to be taken lightly and the advice of involving the children in daily household activities is perhaps the only solution. This is an excellent guide, clear concise and helpful. The stories clearly show that the author SLN never misses to notice any events he has come across in his eventful life. Even the smallest details are so wonderfully narrated so as to catch reader’s attention and interest. The humour is undoubtedly the author’s best tool which he has wielded so well and is woven throughout the book. The information in this book are dense and practical. Even serious topics are so excellently covered such that we can learn from them and correct ourselves. ‘The fear of being found out’ and ‘Embarassing moments” are masterpieces which all of us can relate to and thus help us to reminiscence about our past too. The title story ‘Eagles Don’t Miss’ is an excellent lesson for us all to take note of and apply in our daily life. The last story ‘Time to reboot and get going’ is an excellent conclusion for this valuable book and is an useful advice for us all to follow and thus achieve success. I wish the author all success and look forward to read many more such books from him.
