    Dear Sobhi,
    Thank you for including me in the gem's list, but I wonder whether I am worthy to be mentioned with the Jambavan's of IL for whom I have great respect. I am just like a mole in front of a mountain compared to their proficiency in language and their knowledge.
    In fact I am very thankful to IL for giving me a platform and the members of IL who encouraged me with their comments and continuous support.

    Majority of the posts read by me are the one's posted by you thought most of the times i have been a silent reader with out any comments left behind.

    With this review of my Senile Ramblings you have indeed made my day.
    In all my writings in IL, I share with you such values of life which may appear small but nevertheless make our life a joy to live. Life can never be a bed of roses for anyone. Problems will continue to show their ugly head from time to time but like a river faced with a huge boulder, we must navigate around them effortlessly and in the end, the problems get rounded off but we, like the river, must continue our journey unmindful of them.

    I am happy that you have mentioned my writings supplementing Chitvish's commentaries on Gita. They are very dear to me. I am eternally grateful for the chance that she gave me to share my thoughts on such a profound subject like Gita.

    I must thank you all for making me feel wanted in the evening of my life. Needless to say, the stars that make their presence one by one as the sky darkens fill me with peace and joy.

    I did read your feedback and before replying to it i went to read on your Karuppu Balu post and then got lost.........

    I have really admired all your posts mostly the letters written by you.
    I wish I had a mother and MIL like you.....

    Thanks Shobha for considering me a gem. I am not a gem in my real life. My parents, my spouse and my child would vouchsafe for that.
    To be considered a gem by the gem of a person like you, yes, it really feels good.
    I have to write in order to survive. Writing is as much a basic need for me as food and water. And I am happy there are so many nice hearts who heap praises on what I scribble for this site.
    I am honoured, moved and touched by the compliments you have paid to me.

    First of all , My Name is Shobha. "Sobhi" is just created for Username.:)

    I completely agree with you on your views about smaller things of life.
    It was the tougher times of my life that bought me to IL and I now look at life from totally a different perspective.

    Thanks for coming in.

    To reply to your comment that you are not a GEM, I would say, even GEM's have impurities in them. But still they are called GEM's.

    As I have said in my earlier replies to others, just repeating that the beauty of Ilites is their humbleness and down to earth nature.

    If your family can vouchsafe that you are not a GEM, than I can vouchsafe that you are one. Atleast in IL. :)
