    Thanks everyone

    sarasthara,

I usually grow my roses in 12 inches pot. I use Miracle Gro potting mix. It is available in Lowes, Home Depot, Wal mart.

I use Bloom Booster once a week. You can use any fertilizer specially meant for flowers or roses. I use only half the strength of what is suggested on the label. Roses love water. The soil should be moist and not soggy and well drained soil.
During summer I water everyday and other days I water them twice a week. You should not feed any fertilizer in winter when they are dormant.

During winter keep the pot in a sheltered place.

Since you bought your roses recently, they don't need any pruning now. You can prune them next year in early spring. Not all roses need pruning. Pruning is based on what type of roses you have. I have hybrid roses. I prune 1/3 of my plant in early spring when I see leaflets bulging, that is somewhere in 2nd week of March here in NC.
Let me know what type of rose you have.

Roses need full sun for at least 6 hours of direct sunlight.

Please LMK if you need any information on how to repot your roses.

    swathi14

Roses need full sun, plenty of water, well drained soil, fertilizer, and good care. They will reward you with beautiful flowers.

    MythiliMurali,
I have added you as my friend. Hope it will work now.
