    I am extremely sorry to hear the news . I do not know how to console you . I understand that she was a great mother as well as a great mother-in-law ,through your words . That shows what a noble lady she was . So her soul is sure to rest in peace ,no doubt .
    Please think that she is still living with you in memories . May God give you and your family the strength to bear this parting . Time is the healer ,i believe.

    Dear Cheeniya,

    Please accept my deepest condolences! Though we all know about this Journey each one has to make , when it actually happens in our lives , it really affects us so much that we can never be normal once again! That too if it is a parent......we feel like orphans suddenly!
    So true that finally this physical body just comes out as ashes only.....all these profound happenings stuns us no end .....it is difficult to come to terms with this concept of DEATH!

    I still remember your mother sitting with us and talking and my mom and i were remebering my maternal granny, who also lived to that age and was so sweet even at that age!
    I am glad you mentioned about her in your NAVRATHRI blog and we all were with her memory!

    She sure left a trail of good values and attitudes and you just need to live by it to feel her presence!

    I am sure she would have secured her place right next to the Great Lord ! Bow

    so shocked to read the news. Nobody can take the place of a mother. Though we become grandmother/ father we become a baby by the touch of the mother. I understand your inner emotions and feelings. your write up reflect the emotions. I can only
    console you by this poem.
    Mom, without you, there would be no me.
    Your love, your attention, your guidance,
    have made me who I am.
    Without you, I would be lost,
    wandering aimlessly,
    without direction or purpose.
    You showed me the way
    to serve, to accomplish, to persevere.
    Without you, there would be an empty space
    I could never fill, no matter how I tried.
    Instead, because of you,
    I have joy, contentment, satisfaction and peace.
