If you can’t shop on the weekends then do grocery delivery. Even though it costs more than going yourself you won’t waste money on extras you don’t need and you will also save the aggravation.

Absolutely agree! Grocery delivery is a game changer. Even though I pay for delivery and in-home service, I still save a lot. Since switching to grocery delivery, I’ve noticed I save more than before. Whenever I go grocery shopping, I end up buying unnecessary, unhealthy items like cake, Cheetos, etc. On weekends, if you take your kids, they’ll often grab some plastic toys too. The in-home service costs a bit extra, but you don’t need to tip because Walmart employees deliver it.

I have to throw the boxes out and only keep the bags inside so as to save up space.
I then take pictures of the cooking instructions in the boxes before throwing them .

I cut the instructions from the packet if it is not cardboard box, and use sticky tape to put the instructions on the plastic bags. I write the expiry date with marker pen on the plastic bag. That fades away over time due to the moisture in the freezer. : ) Then, I have to guess the expiry date, then DH will say it is fine anyway it is frozen. : ) Luckily, my local buy-nothing groups have many people who take away frozen food. People are kind enough to even take opened bags.

I wish I could like all your post 1000 times
I realized my post has so many mistakes
I think I was really angry today
He doesn’t spend money on himself
He wears really old clothes but somehow buys everything more than we need for the house
I hate going shopping with him because he takes so much time to shop . Like he will check and verify each vegetable like they are going to live with us forever
He goes to 3 shops because x is good in one shop and y is good in another shop .
For me everything looks same
He will complain so much if I shop

He buys 10lb dals from Costco
Today he got 3 different types of fruits and fyi I’m the only fruit eating person in the house . I will probably look like strawberry if I eat that many .

I told him to buy pori for karthikai
The size of bag I can celebrate festival for next 10 years
@MalStrom my husband has obsession with buying salt but at least that doesn’t go bad so I have accepted it

Today I scolded him a lot and I feel like he has developed some kind of resistance to my scolding .
All his answers are so childish otherwise he is quite sensible. Sometimes i wonder if he feels therapeutic shopping .

But I’m glad I’m not alone .

In India we use Zepto, Instamart or Big basket or blinkit for groceries, vegetables, fruits, cleaning products etc. They deliver within 15 minutes. We buy only what is needed.Moreover our fridges are small er,, kitchen smaller. Not much storage space. It is not mandatory but I give the delivery boy/girl a small tip.No bulk buying.

I do online shopping a lot. Clothes, shoes.
It's like therapy for me.
If iam stressed, I buy something.
I am picking up a big box of clothes at USPS today.
