After the eclipse the previous night, as I look at the clear beautiful moon shining through the window, all I can think is “look at you smile innocently after all that celestial play, as if nothing has happened!” My heart beats faster! I finish my morning yoga practice and head to my spin class. My heart beats faster, though my body shakes! My instructor is, after all, playing my favorite song, and I am only grateful for that. It’s been a while since my last spinning class. You know how life is. Just when one thinks things are somewhat under control, something crops up and you lose the rhythm. All anyone can do is pull up and get back on that wagon, the one that gives us a feeling of “I am doing my best”. So, I decided to show up even if I was 15 minutes late; it is better to show up than not. If not, “not” days will just pile up in no time. I am on my way home, and that moon is now playing hooky with the clouds. My heart beats faster and I pull over! I quickly take a picture I park my car in the garage and look up again only to see the now clear moon through the flowers of my trees, looking as beautiful and radiant as ever. My heart beats faster. I let the dogs out and go out with them. The electric fence is broken and after the experience of them running away just the previous day, I walk out with them and see the glorious and glowing morning sky! My heart beats faster! The pink of glowing sunlight casting this shade on my weeping willow - The moon on the west, and the rising sun on the east, and the earth in between….feels like all is well! I believe with everything that goes on in our lives, there are these moments when our hearts skip a beat or beat faster in joy or in love. What is life if we don’t pause to enjoy those moments?

Your last sentence had me, Sabitha. Can’t think of anyone else who can spin such a beautiful snippet from their morning routine. Loved the pics .
Dear @Ragavisang , Thank you for such a warm reply. I realize that the more I lean in and hold onto these moments, the better life seems to be—despite the ups and downs. Thank you!
