Such a lovely post about your friend. What wonderful parents she must have had to instill in her such self confidance, to be able to achieve so much irrespective of her background or looks.
How many of us destroy, our children & their self worth simply because of the colour of their skin, their limited abilities or talents or even sometimes something as silly as not scoring a hundred in a class exam!

This story of your friend is a good example for all of us to love,appreciate & encourage our children irrespective of their abilities or disabilities. Only then will they learn to love themselves, feel confidant to want to achieve in all spheres of their life.
