My food log.

    Snacks - Peanuts
    Dinner - 3 chapthis with tomato/onion thokku, banana

    BF : three idly with Pudina coconut chutney
    Break 1 : Green tea
    Lunch : Rice with Banana Curry
    Break 2 : Green Tea
    Break 3 : Corn Flakes with milk
    Dinner : Rice with Sambar and Curd

    Hi Vani,
    I have recently started taking green tean but at around 3PM, because yes I am also addicted to my morning coffee.
    I need my coffee at morning so cant replace it with green tea.But am thinking may be i can reduce the intensity of coffee and slowly switch over to green tea. I take plain green tea without sugar/honey.Now the taste is got used to so doesnt find any issues.MAy be you can try plain green tea first and then switch to flavored ones.

    Yesterday's log:
    Badam milk
    BF: Appam (1 3/4) + green gram dal curry.
    Lunch : Rice,red cabbage sabzi, cucumber curry.
    Snack 1: 1 coffee + upma
    Snack 2 : 2jeera biscuit
    Dinner : 1paratha,2chapathi+ 2small piece chicken curry + 1/2 scrambled egg.

    Hi Vani, Tetley's lemon+mint+honey/ginger is good and better than ordinary green tea. I love the smell and flavor of mint and it makes me feel refreshed. Organic India's tulsi flavor is also good flavorwise but I didn't see any improvement in my cold/sinus.

    Lunch - Rice, kollu thuvaiyal
    Snacks - Peanuts, kollu rasam
    Dinner - 3 dosas with mint chutney, banana

    Btw, does anyone know if eating banana in night cause weight gain?

    BF : 4slice multigrain bread-2slice made to S/W with tomato,onion and capsicum wth cheese-2slice with cheese and oregano
    Lunch :Mixed Vegetable rice,curd,snake gourd sabzi
    Snack 1: Pineapple juice (w/o sugar) + 1masala vada
    Snack 2: Green tea
    Snack 3 :papaya
    Dinner : 2chapathi + aamras(home made no sugar)

    Vani, you can make oats interesting by adding fruits and some dry fruits. I normally add banana, apple in oats and these days i also add mango sometimes.

    Hi. i would also like to join this group. here goes my food log for today
    8.a.m-1 cup tea with sugar
    9.30- poha with carrot and tomato
    10.30- Kairi panna (added jaggery in it)
    1.p.m- 1 chapati, aalu subzi, tomato rice
    4.p.m ragi malt w.o sugar
    5.30 milk
    9.pm plannning to make phulkas and green leafy vegetable dry subzi. i dont eat rice at night
