My food log.

    I have been pretty lazy to keep a food log and is going off track slowly.
    So I thought,why not put it out there than writing it down on a notepad.
    May be it will give me some accountability.
    Please feel free to join me:

    Coffee -1cup(wth sugar)
    BF : Toast -4slices with butter and jam.
    Lunch :Rice,bitter gourd curry,yard long beans dry sabzi.
    Snack1 : Greentea
    Snack2 : Pineapplejuice(without sugar) + 1chicken cutlet.
    Snack 3 : Lots of grapes
    Dinner : Some jeera rice, one bread slice and one chapathi with egg curry and dal.

    Morning :
    6 AM : half cup of tea
    8.20 AM : 3 egg white + 2 small bananas


    Mid morning:
    10.20 AM : Green Tea
    11.00 AM : Tea


    Lunch
    12.00 PM : Sundal + butter milk
    2.00 PM : Tea
    4.00 PM : 3 chaska maska biscuits
    4.30 PM : Green Tea


    Dinner


    6.00 PM : Jack fruit, grapes
    7.00 PM : Oats, fruits (jack fruit, grapes, mango)
    10 PM : Idly - 4 (Very bad :-((((and changed the diet plan today)

    Mid morning:

    Lunch
    1.00 PM : Sundal + grapes




    Dinner
    6.00 PM : 2 dosa + half cup of rice
    8. PM : Puffed rice - handful






    Exercise : 20 mins walking in terrace
    Water : 2 lts

    9.30am tea with 2 bread slices
    12 pm 2 chapati brinjal curry curd rice
    6 pm tea with 2 bread slice
    8 pm 3 chapati green gram curry curd rice
    9 pm half banana.

    Yesterday :
    1cup coffee with sugar
    BF : Rava idli-2+ pudhina chutney,white bread(small)-2slices with peanut butter
    Lunch : Rice,Vellari curry,lady finger dry subzi.
    Snack 1: Green tea + 1 almond biscuit
    Snack 2 : Pineapple juice(wthout sugar)
    Snack 3 : 1mango
    Dinner : 3chapathi + dal tadka.

    It is fine except the biscuit, but good thing is I declined the offer of more biscuits ;)

    Hi Ami, I too would like to join here. I try to maintain a log in an Excel sheet but forget to update it for days together. Hoping to keep track of it here as I log on to IL almost every day.

    9.30 AM - Oats porridge with nuts and dates
    11 AM - Pomegranate
    1 PM - Rice with keerai, aloo, mutter and capsicum subji
    5 PM - Masala puffed rice
    8 PM - Capsicum tomato soup, Semiya

    Great to see you. I too tried this, but since no one is seeing this i sometimes forget too.Thus thought to do it here only.

    Yesterday's log:
    coffee with sugar
    BF: Venpongal with one banana
    Lunch :Rice,yams currys,brinjal sabzi
    Snack1: Green tea
    Snack 2: Pineapple juice
    Snack 3 : 2.2rusk
    Dinner: 2.5chapathi + green gram curry.

    I would like to join this log:

    Bf : Oats
    Lunch : steamed rice with dhal and vegetable curry ( hardly two spoons)
    It was a part of meeting lunch
    Evening : Chappati with loki and capsicum sabji
    Dinner : Chappati with Vegetable curry ( though I had dinner earlier, my DH brought food from outside and tempted me)

    For past one week eating oats in the mrng.... feel like punishment. Tat also with just a spoon of brown sugar.:drowning

    Bf - 2 Dosas with tomato chutney
    Snack - Banana
    Lunch - 2 dosas, keerai poriyal, 2 scrambled eggs
    Snack - Bhel poori
    Dinner - Oats dosa

    PS. @Vani - I too used to have oats with just milk, without even adding sugar and it was like punishment only :drowning. Now along with that I add an almond, dates, apricot, raisins and a spoon of sunflower/cucumber/pumpkin seeds based on what I have at home. Dry fruits give sweetness and nuts and seeds add some crunchiness. I just add one or two of each dry fruit/nut though.

    And some days when I don't feel like having sweet/bland bf, I mix oats powder with buttermilk, add crushed ginger, green chillies, coriander leaves and seeds too and have it. Its quite refreshing.

    Lunch : Rice/beans-onion-carrot sabzi/tomato curry
    Snack1: Green tea
    Snack 2: Fruit lassi
    Snack 3: Mango (1/2)
    Dinner : 2.5chapathi + green gram curry + 1teaspoon peanut butter.


    Declined DH's offer of rusk because of the food log ;)
