    hi varmaswathy,

i'm so glad to see y'r work. Many had asked for this draft , but when i posted none came out with their tried ones. I'm glad that u've made the right use of my draft. My happiness knows no bounds. So, how long have u been stitching? Why don't u say something abt u? Y'r work is neat.

    Dear sabarimathi,
i am very glad to see your post and sincere comments on my work.Actually i hardly get time to spend with my hobbies bcoz i have a naughty daughter of 1 year old:).she wants me to sit with her everytime.if i start the machine, she comes and holds the wheel .so nowadays i am not getting time to sew.but i used to search these forums and got your drafting pattern.actually, i have not gone for a sewing class.but my mother and her sisters used to stitch.i got some ideas from them.before a few years, i gone for a short term course of salwar and blouse stitching.but that teacher was not a professional tailor, and was not familiar with recent fashion trends.so my knowledge was incomplete.but i used to stitch salwars .i dont know to take the measurements, for that, i am using my old dresses.
after seeing your draft, i got a rough idea only.thought about trying one.fortunately, it came good.so...thank u sooooo much for sharing it.i am thinking to go for a stitching course here in bangalore.somebody says that there is a design school here.but not now...after afew days.i saw another pattern of anarkali in which the lower part comes like joining strips....do u know the draft of it?one more question....masakkali means short anarkali tops..isn't it?
    anyway....thank u once again.which state u belongs to?
    luv
    aswathy:)

    Hi,
Cute looking anarkali, neatly stitched .......... for a person who has not much experience in taking measurement and cutting……….. you have used the suggestion made by our ILites friends. Be careful while washing if you have not soaked the red bandini cloth in salt water before stitching.
