    Op,
Both the parts were interesting to read. I am very scared of dogs because like your mother , I feel they might bite or their nails can hurt and I might die. Cats are ok for me as unlike dogs they always maintain a distance. I think cats can sense who are approachable and who are not, whereas dogs especially pet dogs try to befriend anyone who come to their house.
A relative of mine has a pet dog. Everyone is fond of it and shower lots of love by holding and playing with it. I on the other hand always maintain a safe distance and stay 5 metre away from it always. It's always a get together of 3 families whenever we go there , so there are lots of friendly people for the dog who enjoy his company and it is not so particularly bothered about my aloofness.
This time it was only my family visiting them and so less people. I was very much tired after the travelling and just slept like a log.
After coming back home from their house, I told my kid that the dog was so nice this time as if it had noticed me only this time. It came and sat near me twice and I patted on its back. And to what my kid said after that , I was shocked. The morning that I slept like a log, the dog came and tried to wake me up. I was sleeping face down and it rested on my back for five minutes and my kid said that it sniffed me near my face. I was trembling when I heard that and thanked my kid that she didn't say it or call me out when the dog was so near to me or else I would have died of heart attack at the same time on seeing the dog so close to my face.

@paru feed back an interesting read.
The moment you wake up and the first thing you at much close proximity the thing you fear or abhor, blood gets curdled or you freeze. Luckily your kid was very thoughtful when it was resting over you, she did not disturb you.

A macabre scene from Hollywood movie cross my mind. True - horse is tamed but can't fit in pet category.

In the most iconic scene in The Godfather, playing the corrupt movie producer who wakes up to find a horse’s head in his bed. It was real horse head picked up from slaughter house.

I was given to seeing a friendly group of pets in the bungalow having get together. It was a mix of cats, pomeranians and lebradors. They were all brought in when they were all kids and tamed together!

A robust well maintained dog D1 leashed to a tall locked steel grilled entrance gate from inside bungalow happen to meet a stray dog D2 just behind the gate on the road side.

D1 was boasting its luxurious life timely nutritious food periodical vet check up and the daily cozy shower and travel in car to oval park etc. Dog D2 patiently listening to the rich life style, noticed on D1's neck - a chain cum collar & a long leash with buckle tied to the steel grille. It enquired D1 the necessity of it. D1 said that his master and his family members would use it to control my ambit.

Then D2 wagging it's long curled tail said "I am shocked. You hv no freedom to move as you like as you want. You are rather imprisoned, whereas I enjoy the freedom to move as I like and roam around eat and live as I like. I hv friends in almost every street in the neighborhood. You are leading a prisoner's life. By all means I enjoy maximum freedom."

Thanks for your feedback! Yes madam, indeed I had a pet parrot named Mithu. But, it stayed with me for only one year. He was very smart. He learned how to open the cage with his beak. He fled thrice out of the house. In the first two occasions, however, he didn't go too far, and came back. But on the last occasion, there was a flock of parrots going around the area. That time he preferred to join them, and I didn't see him again.

Your questions here triggered me to write a series of things about Presidential election and the 3 system of government.

To answer your questions, none of the races vote in total for one party. The majority of blacks support Democratic Party as they beleive that party represents their values. This belief became stronger after Obama’s election as they saw a black being elected as the President for the first time. It is majority Whites who split their votes to both parties. Out of 67% of the total white population, roughly 40% vote for Republicans now after Trump came to power. This race had more support for Democrats earlier. Now, Trump has convinced this group that Whites will lose majority, if the US doesn’t control immigration. Among the Whites also, young White voters and the Whites with no college education strongly support Trump. Some of the college educated also support Trump. Mostly, the Whites in rural part of the US strongly Support Republican Party. Rich Indians who have made millions of dollars definitely lean towards Republican Party as their policies will increase their wealth more. Middle class immigrants from Asia and other countries support Democrates. Arab population is unhappy about Israel’s war on Gaza. Hispanics supported Democratic Party strongly in the past and 95% of blacks also vote for Democratic Party. Generally cities vote mostly for Democratic party.

This election is still neck to neck with no clear winner. Roughly 15% remain undecided until September and their decision swings in favor of one party or the other. It is important to watch who makes more mistake during this period, what kind of filth was found about the candidates, how interest rates are reduced, who gives more benefits to middle class, what kind of international crisis manifest in the last minute, etc.

All the polls conducted after Trump vs Kamala debate declares Kamala as the winner of the debate that doesn’t mean she would be the winner in Nov.

Hot Diggity Dog! Dear Viswa @Viswamitra, I don't have any other suitable expression to show my gratitude to you for your enormous effort. However, what you have produced is almost like a tome, and it would definitely take some time for me to pore over it. Maybe by the middle of October, I will be done, and I hope to write my take on the issue, and I will not be so tight-lipped as you in predicting the outcome of the presidential elections.

Today, I watched a television programme about the topic you wrote in your original feedback, that is about illegal immigrants, whom Trump wants to make a bogie to garner a few percentage of votes, no body knows which might prove to be decisive, in a news channel. The correspondent in that channel said that the allegation was unfounded, but honestly, no one can be sure of the food habits of the people from SE Asian countries.

Thanks again for the pains you have taken to make the matter easier for us!
