ur narration is so nice and touching, it brought tears to my eyes. its like a reflection of the relation between my brother and me. we too share the same relationship just like u do. thanks for taking me down my memory lane.

Very very nice snippet. I can relate to each and every word that u have written, except for the last part, as my bro is not yet married . MY bro and me have 2 yrs diff and each phase of yours is so apt. Whatever said and done, a bro is a bro!

Great to know that you have a loving bro. I have a sweet cousin bro n he is also not in India now. I miss him a lot more than usual after reading your post. He too has a great passion for music, studied in the same institute as ur bro, is very concerned towards servant maids, very affectionate though we used to fight a lot…everything in your post reminds me of him. I was moved reading your last but one para as it reminded me of many similar incidents as this.. It was when he visited India last year. Only we both were at home n after a huge fight we both were feeling very hungry. He ate dosas i made n said, ‘Now u go n relax, i’ll do for u so that u can eat them hot.' Though we hardly get time to chat now a days, its always heart warming to know that all that affection remains the same no matter we spend more time or less time with each other. Brothers or sisters, it is the depth of affection that matters and one should indeed be blessed to receive them.

Dear Mindian

I can understand the love u have for your younger brother as I also have
one younger brother and two elder brothers. Your brother is gifted to have
a sister like u and u r also gifted to have him. The love between a brother
and sister is very sacred. There are so many happy memories of our
childhood. My younger brother and Iare very close. Through God's
blessings I only got a job for him in our Company and got him married
to my sis in law's daughter. She is a gem of a person and my brother
is very lucky to have her as his wife. My brother is not just a good brother
but a great friend too.All my brothers are very loving. Since my dad died
at the age of 18 yrs my second brother only got me married and got a job
for me..
