    Thanks, @EverydayBloom for sharing pics.
I have ordered Amarnath as well. We are big on consuming green leaves in our diet. Looking forward to adding Amarnath in my garden and diet.:wink1:

Love love your banana. What kind is it? Where did you get it?
Also what is the plant behind banana?

I have been using grow bags for growing flowering plants which are heavy shrubs like hibiscus, curry leaves and arali (i do not know the english equivalent for it) plant. They last good and are spacious enough to hold good amount of soil for such plants. I use a potted soil mix that i get from the gardener who comes to our area from the nursery. As they are lighter than regular pots, I feel they make very good holders for balcony plants.

Your banana plant looks very healthy
By the way how to keep your banana hydrated? Do you have a drip system? Have they fruited?
In my 10A zone, it looks like Banana fruits once in 2 years. My banana is around 10 months old and I see many banana children popping up. Can I give these children away without Banana fruiting?
    What zone are you in?

    Hi @blindpup10

Our banana plant is 3yrs old, goes away every winter and comes back from the trunk it left in winter frost, we didnt prune it any time in the past 3yrs just couple of leaves during festive season. We have a sprinkler system but I usually love to water everyday during summer months(june/july).I do get baby banana plants, but i usually give them away to neighbors/friends whoever ask for, that will give more energy to mother plant. As we are talking as such i went and captured a pleasant surprise :) first banana flower in 3yrs!!! And we live in Zone 7b.
