My Backyard Garden

I reproduced image of a green flower less plant below. I would like to know th ordinary and botanical name. I am impressed with marvel distribution of leaves around a stalk in a circle so that ten or twelve leaves form a dome like shape.

I would request garden enthusiast among fellow IL’ites to Look at the bottom right of the image and help me with right name of the plant please.
