    hey .. i am new to this forum... i want to lose... my current weight is 90kg... i always start weight loss plan.. reduce 1-2kg and lack motivation and back to same weight... so please do share you ideas to help me out.... i desperately want to lose weight ....

    how many have started? i have been seeing some diet chart... how many going to start... i want to be more accountable and keep posting my daily routine what i do.. so i get motivated more... someone please reply...

    I think we are all just starting here and you can join us :)

    Its been 4 days since I had rice/roti and honestly I dont miss it. First 2 days I did but after that, I am not missing it.

    This AM, I made mango lassi oatmeal and ate it. super yum.

    There are no new ideas. Just follow a healthy diet with regular exercise. Don't starve yourself. More importantly don't quit.

    Yesterday

    Breakfast 3 dosa and milagai podi and milk 1 cup
    Lunch 3 sukhi rotis, bhindi&brinjal curry, toor Dal
    Dinner... Unfortunately i forgot to tell my DH that i am dieting. He brought snacks and i got tempted.. So i ate some mini samosas, mini bakarwadis and bhujia sev
    :-( that plus 1 cup milk was my dinner
    30 mins walking and 1 litre water

    Feeling foolish gals :-/
    I am having cold and sore throat...
    Wont be able to do much for next couple of days...
    You all continue...i will rejoin once i am better

    Welcome!!

    Dont worry about the health issues, most of them are temporary, with life style changes you can keep them in check.

    I have thyroid,pcos, vitamin B12 and D deficiency. Thyroid - I picked up after delivering my first Kid, PCOS-very recently. I was on tabs for 4 months post which i conceived second time. B12 , Vit D- Dont worry, everyone who checks for this are deficient in this. I see a trend now, among Drs, asking us to get this checked. Even my DH is deficient and on Vit D medications.

    Yes, I cook separately for myself. Subzis remain same but for family its white rice, for me its brown rice. Mornings, i have ragi/oats/roti which ever can be easily prepared

    I Agree with @coffeecups..

    Ideas are the same.Consistency is the key here. Healthy eating +work out.

    I try to avoid white rice and have whole grains+extra veggies+all kinds of sprouts+keep dinner lite and have it early+hydrate well. But CONSISTENCY is what matters here.
