don't share details here deepa. finding this thread active after a long time.
there were many people here from muscat and oman some of them have relocated back to india for kids' higher education, while some moved to other places and some are not active.

in 2005 we would go to the wadi kabir market for vegetables, should find out if that market is still there. i like the development, but would prefer the 2000's muscat..not much traffic, safer and lesser malls. and yes the steep cost of living escalation that has left many helpless.

Even now I feel it's with less traffic here compared to other GCC countries. Oman is really nice.

Yes. But the lnb does not work. You need to get the one suitable them. Also a few programs were not coming good when i was there last month. Something to do with this.
