priya, i remember seeing some one from buraimi. maybe they are frequent in the uae forum. how do you find the difference. how is buraimi. with the new roads, it is easy to come into muscat/dubai isn't it.

Chamu, how are you. i used to stay in al-khuwair, now dh stays in ghala.

last year during my vacation i saw a flyer at al-jadeed for chess classes. don't know if my dh has the number. did you check out the Indian social club. apart from this, i think there was one tdca in wadi kabir, number was 92591954. (i have scribbled this in my telephone book..i am not sure if it is still there.) do call them and do post the details here for others. there are tournaments happening markhaz bahja. one of my friends used a online master but he was charging 150/hr 4 years ago.

hi ,anybody hav idea about indian social club here in muscat.I went to check the details.49 omr membership fees,Is it worth paying.Or can I just become member in tamil wing alone.What are the advantages of becoming a member?

There are many wings in Indian social club like tamil, malayalam,telugu,gujarti etc... we can select wings as we desire & depends our mother tounge,as far as i know itz better to select by our mother tounge, In tamil wings it is 20 omr per year.
