This is combination of millets. One easy way of adding millets into your diet. Idlys are steamed so oil free also

    Little millet- 1 cup
    Kodo Millet- 1 cup
    Foxtail Millet-1 cup
    Barnyard millet-1 cup
    Idly rice-1 cup
    Brown rice- 1 cup

    ural dhal 1.5 cups

Soak all rice varities together for 5-6 hours
soak Urad dhal+few menthi seeds- 2 hours

Grind rice and ural dhal seperately and mix them together with enough salt and allow it ferment as you do normally for idly batter

after fermentation make idlies, you wont find any difference with normal idlies and tastes excellent

Make sure to put them in fridge immediately after using as they tend to get sour quicker than normal batter

Note: Dosais made with batter makes wonderful roast (dosa)

Try out , it will be a keeper[IMG]

Sounds really healthy and tasty, do the idlis also turn out as soft as the regular rice and urad dal idlis.
