Moving to Topeka, KS from Irving, TX

Hi all,
we are planning to move to Topeka, Kansas from Irving, Texas due to my DH's job. But the reviews of the area are pretty bad. I do have a 3 year old kid. Please suggest me a good community/area where indians live and a safe area with good schools.

Hie @Rashmirachuri .. i was also in kansas last year ..my husband project was in topeka .. but there was,n a good apartment so we choose mid point to live the place name is LAWRENCE 20 min from topeka . Atlst here u can find gud apt .. but still there u canr see large amt of indians .. i was staying @hunter ridge apt .. 2bhk 800dollar .. nyc apt n safe also .. gud luck. .

thanks for the reply. Even we are planning to move to Lawrence. Is there any good indian grocery stores near by? and hw abt the schools? R u still living thr? what is your opinion abt d plc? Is it safe to live with kids thr?
