    how u? was not at home so long.. was at friend's house in redmond.. now bk home.. we shud try to settle down b4 nxt wkend..

    bt i am still surprised how can we meet without a phone number or apt number.. leasing office is really far off from my building.. i will not be able to walk till thr..

    and i told u that i met a gal here in hampton greens rite...she has gone to india for he sis's marraige.. bt she was truly helpful until the day she left.. such a wonderful person.. missing her a lot..

    waasup with u? when ll u be free? how was ur trip?..

    Hi Pradeepa,

    We are planning to move to Redmond next month, I was following this thread....

    Have you settled in Hampton Greens ? How good is this place, How is the Indian Community ?

    One good thing is it is so near to office for my husband ....

    Do you know of any pre-schools in walking distance from this apartment ? We have a 3 year old daughter, So wanted to check on that ...

    We are planning for a house hunting trip mid-feb .....

    hi manju,

    glad that u r moving to redmond.. welcome..

    i chose hampton greens for few reasons..
    1) renovated kitchen(bt small)(doesnt have white appliances or white countertop)
    2)reasonable price for a decent looking interiors..
    3)close to microsoft
    4)washer dryer in unit..(this is the number 1 reason)

    may i know where is ur husband working?..

    u can find a good number of indian families in most apts.. i have only stayed 1 wk in this apt.. i got a good friend who helped qt too much.. bt now she has gone to india..
    there r few other friends of her here bt i have not met any of them coz i cant really get out of my apt ..

    list out ur priorities and start searching based on that.. u ll find a good apt within a wk..

    i have no idea abt schools nearby.. may be i ll chk and let u know..

    Thanks for the reply.

    My husband is joining Nintendo, It seems to be across the road from Hampton Greens....

    Schooling is the top priority, and as you said a W/D will be a necessity ..... Other than that, Mostly the usual stuff and a good gang to hangout with ....

    Let me see how it shapes up, We are flying in Seattle this weekend, Will keep you posted ...
