    Dear ILs,

    We will be moving to New Jersey from Bangalore by March last week. My husband is already there and searching for apartments. his office is neat WTC path station. Hence we are looking for areas : Jersery City , Near Journal Path station, Harrison.
    Please suggest areas where Indian community will be there. We have 4 year old kid and hence we would be looking for place near to school or where school bus comes.

    I have checked in Jersery City areas the apt. prices are too high. Coting around 1100-1500 for small one bedroom house with moderate facilities. Where as Harrison seems to be good affordable rents between 800-1200 for 1 BR apt./house.

    Please suggest which area will be good ?

    Thanks..
    Anu

    Hii all;
    I have posted this in another thread. Since this is more apt I am re-posting it.
    We are planning to move to north jersey and is in lookout for a safe community.
    Preferred areas: around North Arlington; Newark; Jersey City etc. taking into consideration the proximity to NYC.
    Rent: 2 bedroom around/under $1300.
    Other: Having public transportation; Indian community and a library[IMG].
    Anyone in Pavonia/Newport; tell me how much it cost for 2 Bdrm?
    -Nitha
