There would be a couple of things you will need to consider before settling down on a home in the Bay Area! Where would the place of work be...? Commute times can be horrendous, given the traffic in the Bay Area. Most tech companies are in the South Bay - Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Mountain View area. And then your affordability.

Cupertino is an excellent school district - all 10 schools, but a 1 BR apartment could cost an arm and leg. Fremont, where I live is also a good school district - the Mission Schools are all 10 schools, and while it is not as expensive as Cupertino, it is still a little expensive. But if you were working somewhere in the South Bay, commute from Fremont could be a tough one (I do it currently, DH has a shorter commute.. so at least that's a relief)... these are things you will need to think about.

Hi, My office will be in Walnut creek. I am looking for Indian Community area - 1bhk apartment. Please suggest which location will be best to find the apartment. My budget is below $1500 per month.

Also, I will get car after 4 months. So, I need to consider near to BART station.

    Please guide me on this.
