The last movie I saw that moved me to tears was" Aashayein" by Nagesh Kukunoor starring John Abraham, Farida Jalal, Anaitha Nair. A very touching subject....inmates of a rehabilitation center all knowing that they are suffering from incurable diseases and how they all have accepted this fact and living their remaining days with the best of spirits....
Good to hear am not lonely in the cry boat Tare Zameen Par had me crying throughout the song "Meri maa"...
shakambari, as mentioned by lavii, matrudevo bhava is a movie which no one can see without crying. and yes there were handky's distributed in the theatres.
"meri maa" song from "taare zameen par" always makes me cry.. azhagi, mahanadhi, deiva thirumagal, are the others...
Indeed a senti, senti list of movies...Azhagi was a real offbeat and emotional one...So is Mahanadhi and Deiva....
I cried watching 3 movies. One is page 3, especially the scene where Konkana rescues the orphan child from the sexual abuse of the industrialist. the other two are malayalam movies 'Kazcha' and ' Brahmaram'. In kazcha my heart ached when the refugee camp officer tore in to pieces the application form, given by Mammooty to adopt the refugee child. Brahmaram, I had to use nearly half a box of tissue paper to wipe my tears. Hence I have decided not watch it again.
