I haven't moved back to India yet, but I want to return because I miss the social life, family , festivals and whenever out of job in US it is a big insecurity due to expenditure in US dollars.

I havent moved yet as well, but would love to move, the first chance that I get, the primary reason being that I miss my family, relatives and friends terribly, miss the people/crowd, miss the noise and liveliness. 6 months of freezing lonely winter and rainy summers have been making me miss home all the more. The only problem is that dh is employed here and would love to stay here atleast for another few years, so, waiting and praying for the few years to pass quickly :bowdown

I haven't moved yet and would not move for next 2-3 years I guess....
Me and my DH, we both are the only child of our parents so this is the main reason of our r2i in future........I miss my parents, friends a lot......though I talk with my parents daily but it's very hard to stay here...

Interesting question - what motivates us to R2i? We are not planning R2I for the next couple of years. In my case,I don't really miss India. I only miss my family and close friends. If I could have them around me, then probably will never think of R2I. I am also not the kind who has interest in festivals/gatherings much. This lifestyle works just fine for me:thumbsup.

Managing kids without immediate family and kids growing up without any family around is my biggest concern.
