Motherhood or workhood what to select??

    Hi All,

    Be mother only or working woman? What should i choose? Being a mother of 21/2 year old son's mother.....
    Earlier I was a working woman. After my baby's birth I left my job and full time mother. Now I am in dilemma that should i start job again or still i have to be with my baby? My heart is telling me to be with baby but again a career woman in me is asking me to start may career again...
    I thought my IL is the best place to get good suggestion. Please Please help me to take a next step in my future. Please please I am waiting for your valuable suggestions.
    Thanks a lot for giving time for my problem!!!!!

    Good that you took a break for the sake of your son.
    Do you have somebody at home to take care now?If some reliable source is there, you can step in to your career. Try to go for tension free jobs, so that you can spend quality time with kid.

    Thanks Priya for giving time for me. No I do not have anybody at home to take care of my kid. I have to depend on aaya only.

    Dear,
    Soon your child will need to go to playschool otherwise they will not learn how to share etc and be around children.

    So after they are 3 yrs old and if they are adjusting to playschool and then nanny at home..you can definitely start working. Nothing wrong in it.

    After you start him on this routine if things don't go well as planned...give it some time. If nothing works then you have your answer whether you should work or not.

    Hi!
    :iagree with foundlove's statement.
    I was working before marriage and after my child was born ,i took 2 years of break. I decided to work once my child was 2 years and 3 months, i left her in a playschool cum creche wherein she started enjoying with children of her age.now she is 6 years old.

    Initially,it was difficult to manage. but later on she was used to that.It all depends on our mindset.:thumbsup

    My son is going to start his school from this June so I m planning to start my career after that.....
    Which is better option crèche or Nanny at home?
