Is the numbers of your budget all for a year or month? There is no separation (example: Insurance for two cars is $350/Month?) Also whats the coverage of auto and life? (just a very abstract detail could do) Pl add those details
This is very true and except for food (produce, yogurt, eggs, chicken etc) which I like from WF and or TJ (visit both every week), I also buy many branded (green or eco friendly) stuff from online. Invariably its more expensive in WH than online.
Rakhii I was about to ask the same q. I am pretty sure you mean a month right....you cannot be paying $350/yr for two cars for insurance in CA.
Its for month. I have full coverage for both cars. Of course there are clauses which the insurance agency will not cover (like theft in the event you didnt lock the car etc). For life (being non-smokers), we took coverage to cover the exiting cost of the house+cottage. I.E in the event one of us die, the insurance will be able to cover both the mortgages. From my pension savings so far, hybby will get 60%...he will get 100% on registered retirement funds (i think you call it 401). This cost also includes our disability insurance (long and short).
Yes, its monthly. Its really cheap for 2 cars actually, since my DH has a sports model. Also, all our insurance is from one company; so they give insuarnce cheap. if I take it from other places, it woud be more expensive. I forgot to add another thing in the fixed expenditure. I also pay $40 per month for home security/alarm forces.
Rakhi, I am still confused: SDIVA has asked you is it $350/Yr? You said Yes, its monthly... now tell me clearly.. whats your ANNUAL AUTO INSURANCE for both of your vehicles? (hope that my last night coke is off my head by that time) I pay $1300+/Yr for Three cars, Three drivers in the holy state of CA. I have been under the impression that I am getting a bargain in my insurance so far.
Annual auto insurance stands at $4416. My auto insurance for 1 MONTH is $350 for 2 cars. $250 a month for the sports model which he uses to take it to work every day. That is why its high. and $118 per MONTH for my car, which I only use to take to the train station. Where I live, the travel distance makes a huge difference. Also, I went with one of the most reputable insurance companies. Its expensive compared to others but when claiming, its a piece of cake.
Hi, We hv state farm insurance from 2.5 yrs now (bay area) for our brand new car( 2013 Honda Accord Ex L if car model matters I don't know) full coverage we r paying $61 per month and for second car which is second hand Toyota corolla S 2003 model min liability insurance we r paying $24 per month with road assistance. We hv never claimed insurance so far so got lots of discount touchwood.
OK...I have to add this here; 2 years ago my DH's car met with an accident. So, insurance went up a bit. But over all, its around the same for insurance here.
