@smilysmile Are you taking private medical insurance. We have insurance through DH's employer. So on a premium basis not a killer for us. The costs also depend on type of plan and a persons medical history. Forgot to mention this earlier: since we have taken cable, I periodically talk to the provider to check how I can reduce my cost. I also ask for discounts or free packages. Most of the time I usually get $10 off monthly bill for 1 year. Also I switch providers once I feel bill is high. There is no cost to switching (once contract is over).
Ramya/sdiva20, what do you mean by buying groceries online? Where do you buy groceries online? What type of products do you buy?
Rent - 645 Grocery - 400 Gas- 150 Utilities - 350 Restaurants - 100 Inurance - 300 On total close to $2000, some times $2500
A lot of stuff that I usually buy from Whole Foods, I can get online cheaper- Raw honey, different kind of flours- coconut, almond, multi grain, buckwheat etc, organic canned beans, pasta (brown rice, quinoa etc), soba noodles, oil( extra virgin coconut or olive), nuts. I made all nut butters at home so I can get them completely preservative free. I am a big foodie and like to try to cook recipies from different cuisine and in past I took my list to WF and spend a lot. But online I save 2-3 bucks on each item. I like body washes, soaps, lotions, shampoos, dish or laundry detergents etc parabens, sulphates and harmful chemical free. Again I look online for those products as those are considerably cheaper than WF's.
@uma Just like sdiva I buy my flours, household cleaning products in Amazon. I use Subscribe and Save option though I do cancel the ubscription option or skip a delivery.
Ramya, I I use subscribe and save option too. I cancel it after the order is delivered. However, I don't use it for all the needs. I shop online for clothes, cosmetics, skin care, and few groceries (if I couldn't find a deal in-store) I've never tried buying flours online as I believe im finding a good deal in-store itself.
