    hi all,

As we all are working mostly it wont be possible to make idli, dosa all week long so most of the days I give my son cereal mostly cherrios multigrain or regular one not with honey for him... he doesn't like too much sweet.... and other days he will have cream of wheat as he doesn't like upma much.... I like to know what are other cereal we can give for toddlers... I know its all build up with lots and lots of sugar and I don't like to give color once.... so I like to know what cereal do you feel comfortable giving it to your child which you can recommend to some one like me.....

I have tried many times to give cereal for my DD. She does not even try it. I just wish she would have it sometimes, would make life so much easier for me.

I give her sathu maavu kanji aka porridge and idli, dosa, poori, pongal, parathas etc. for breakfast.

Breeze, my little one also likes Cheerios, I give him bread with butter, bread with baked bean, ommlett...... now a days he's drinking banana milk shake followed by a toast or with a pot of apple crumble or banana cookie crumble (store brought :( )

My son also doesn't like peanut... I think I should try again he might like.

Can babies chew Granola as I feel they are bit chewy .......

Yes, granola bars are chewy. Babies can't do that.

Surprise! Surprise! Today DD had cereal for breakfast. She had frosted flakes. Not the healthiest option that it is a start!
