    Dear Ladies,

I have few black spots Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra commanly known as DPN on my face. They resemble moles to some extent though they are not innate but appear over a period of time when exposed to sun. I have spoken to a doctor and was advised to undergo a treament where the DPNs are burnt and removed which accordingly to her was a simple procedure which hundreds of women undergo everyday. Has anyone had any problems with DPNs and can you suggest what is the remedial procedure and is it safe to go by what by doctor suggested without any sideaffects like scarring my face.

    Hello Sabita,

Did you undergo the procedure? Or have you taken some other medication for the spots?
I have a similar problem and I was wondering if I should settle with any over the counter products.

    Pls advice.

    Thanks,
    Udhaya

I underwent that procedure and it was quite painless. I would suggest you to undergo that treatment. No harm in it.
