    Craft Work : Bags Using Old Cotton Saree & Mobile Pouches Using Waste cut-pieces

    Hi Ilites
    I made these two bags from my old cotton saree. These mobile pouches are made using cut pieces(waste) after stitching my blouse.
    I got inspiration from Mals & yashikushi's Collection of bags & mobile pouches & also from my daughter who gave me :idea to convert my old cotton saree into bags. I washed the saree and starched & ironed it before cutting...
    I've shown both front & back side.

    Though its from others inspiration,pretty work from your hand Chitra..[​IMG]
    The pouches are simply surprisingly superbbbbb.The front end was so attractive.That too the dark purple in the middle,fiddle my eyes.The blues are so stylish.
    The bags from old saree are also eye-catchy.

    So you see imgination needs nothing just an old object,no matter how it transforms into.All are the collaboration of your mind & hand.

    I'm happy!!...its you!... first seen..... & given me the FB....Thanks.
    I finished the front & back of the dark purple pouch long back. But I didn't have enough material to join them on the sides. I was thinking...thinking.....That is why I used beads on the sides along with available cloth....to finish the pouch...
    It gives me graet pleasure whenever an old object tranform into a new one!!!

    Thanks. I used poplin cloth as lining & inbetween lining & outer material(two layers), I've used sponge to give some strenghth....
