    Plz suggest a good mixer grinder preferably 750 watts or above for usage in USA.

    I have the Preethi Eco Plus twin jar mixer grinder for several years now and it works very well. I don’t make batters though. It costs about $130 on Amazon right now.

    I had preethi too but had issues with heavy grinding especially for chutneys and masala powders..so looking for something that can help grind better especially with coconut.

    Look into Vitamix. It has a very powerful motor and a dry jar too.

    You can get vitamix or blendtec. I have used blendtec and it's amazing.

    I don't think any American mixers are good grinders. The Indians do a lot of grinding for their food processing but the Americans use it mostly for mixing. Hence, I have not come across many American mixer.grinder that are as powerful or better than Indian mixer/grinder. If you feel Preethy has not served your purpose or any other Indian equivalent of it, you are not going to find an American one as useful. They are not price competitive either.

    Wow! I looked it up and it looks like a right choice. It comes with 5 year warranty. The price is $299.99 with three jars. A bit expensive. Please let us know how it functions after 6 months to a year.
