    Thank you very much.
    For making stencils you need to get a big thick plastic sheet.
    1st get the picture you want to colour and then mark the boxes where you want to colour .
    later get the sketch on the plastic sheet. and you get stencil cutter just cut those areas you wish to colour. Your stencil is ready it will take atleast one day to get your stencil ready.

    But very sorry to tell you dear that now a days all these works are given names I have no idea what this lavangam work is. During one of my visit to India i just happened to go to some shop and there that person was making tracing prints on the sarees got attracted to it and just purchased one brought some different colour threads beads stones and sequences of different colours with all this material just made it as my imagination would allow me to make.
    I just used very simply stitches like satin stitch, stem stitch, back stitch and french knot.
    Is this work known as lavangam work???? please let me know.
