    thank you nithya and karthi.
    the work with red and white is called detached buttenhole stitch.
    i learned it from needle and thread video librarary. it's such a beautiful stitch, that i'm planning to do it on dinning table cloth.
    nithya your doubt is correct. i too have the same doubt. but as this is my first saree project and not yet washed my churi top i'm not able to answer you.
    karthi can you please answer this question?.

    hi madhu mathi,
    gutta is just like glass outliner. this is used to out line on fabric. the reason, as silk colour gets spread gutta helps to stop it. while drawing outline using gutta, there should be no gap or break at all.let the gutta dry and start painting.
    as you stay in gulf , you can easily get pebeo colours there. gutta is also available with that.
