First of all sorry for the loss u had. But don't lose hope.

I also had this same experience b4 my second baby. If u r trying to conceive now take lot of health care. Start taking folic acid. This is what my doc advised me to. Btw which doc r u consulting in gurgaon? I shifted from gurgaon to singapore. I delivered my baby in gurgaon. If interested i can give u my doc's no. she is really good. My first bb was delivered thru her. After that had 3 miscarriages. For the second one went thru her again and delivered normal baby.

Thanks for your concern.. Till now i had not visited any doc in gurgaon..

my doc in chennai advised me to go to Dr.Nirmala krishnan in gurgaon..i think she is coming to privat hospital.. pblm is im not very fluent in hindi.. anyway if u can tel me the doc name i will try..also pls let me know a good hospital nearby my home in sohna road..

Hi Sindhu,
Sorry for your first experience.

Since you are trying for more than a year try to consult some gynec. Proceed to get the initial blood works & other tests done! It will help you to know your body condition.

Try to track your Ovulation(if you haven't done till now!) & find out your fertile days & try IC in those days! Stay positive. Eat healthy. Take the prenatal vitamins! Try to engage you in some other activity other than TTC!

Hi Friends,

I got my period 21 days delayed(49 days since last period).I had all signs of pregnancy like bloating,frequent urination,headache but 2 negative HPT.i have a doc appointment tommorow,i was very excited that i was pregnant & may be it was too early to detect pregnancy thru HPT.i have a kid of 3.5 years & during her time HPT came positive only after 2.5 months.so i was thinking i am pregnant as i had all symptoms.
My lil one was happy that she will become a big sis now.My hubby was very happy.I am feeling very low,not sure whether it is miscarriage or delayed period.I never had miscarriage before.I am 32 & have lil office work pressure.Is it because of stress?But i had all sympotms...
I am feeling low & sad...Did anyone had any such experience earlier?

Suma,
Your delayed period could be due to stress. "Stress" definitely plays a major role.
But negative HPT does not mean that you were not pregnant. Only your doctor can decide if it was pregnancy or not.
It's better to check with your doctor and not think about this a lot.
Don't get depressed. Things will happen. Next time don't tell your daughter until you confirm your pregnancy. That way she won't get too disappointed.

Welcome to this forum!
It took 2.5 months for your first pregnancy to confirm, please meet your gynec & go for blood test. It can tell the presence of HCG. May be Ultra sound can tell some more info. May be that will guide you.

Like Sudha told, Please don't inform your younger one until getting confirmed signal. She need to face the disappointment & you will also feel bad by that time.

Hi vasumathi,

I checked with my gynec, She told me there is no problem in you, but if u need i can help in conceiving. she has given me some tablets to conceive. Should take it from second day of the period, she said with that within 1 or 2 months u shld conceive.. I havent tried it now, since my husband is in USA and will be back only in July.

My husband is scared if the tablets are good for the baby? Any idea on this? we cant ask the doc reg this. she says it is good..Do we really have tablets for conceiving?

Hi Sindhu,
Let us know which tablet you are prescribed with. May be any IL can help you to give their experience with the tablet.
Your gynec much have prescribed some tablets for follicle growth! Lets find it with the tablet name!

She has given me Letoral 2.5, Duphaston and ovacare. I am having Folvite - folic acid tablet for the past 6 months now..
