    Re: Moving to Melbourne, Australia

    Hi Yamuna,

Welcome to the forum. For more info on living in Perth, just Google it. Perth is a lovely place, only drawback is that there are not many Indians there.

The climate tends to be warm for most of the year.Housing prices are cheap. BONUS: you are close to India!

Perth is famous for it's beaches & the people are very friendly

    Regards,

    Corallux

    Re: Moving to Melbourne, Australia

Congrats Nirjohn....So as I said in my new year wishes, you will be celebrating Xmas with us in good old Oz.

As for essentials, Pls go my thread "Essentials to get to OZ'. Autumn is setting in.

We had a break & the schools just opened on 070408. Winter break is from 300608-110708.

Chadstone is a lovely place. We have a Shopping centre that is the biggest in the southern hemisphere.

As for schools, were you looking for a State/Private/Catholic school?

The best school according to my friends is the Glen Waverly Primary school. I leave this open as other members of the forum may have other opinions.

Nirjohn, please do not use that term " Sorry to bother you".Moving is stressful specially for the ladies.

    See you soon,

    Corallux
