hI SHIVA It is good to see you with recipes which help weight loss.:cheers I have posted one recipe which i found in the net and will be useful for many non-veg lovers....yes it is oil free...!!!! Source : net recipe by : HOBBY COOK Ingredient: NO oil (This is a OIL FREE recipe!) 300 gms chicken cut into small pieces. Ginger paste - half teaspoon Garlic paste - one teaspoon Curd (Plain yogurt) - 3 or 4 tablespoon Salt - half teaspoon Sugar - half teaspoon Green Chili - 2 pieces - split each of them into two Onion - 1 medium size - slice into fine strips Green cardamom (choti elachi) - 2 pieces Cinnamon (dar chini) - 1 piece Bay leaf (tej patta)- 1 piece Chopped coriander leaves (dhania patta) - 1 small cup full Water - One and half to two cups Method: Mix all the ingredients above (Do NOT add water now) with the chicken and marinade for 20 minutes Once marinade is done, put the chicken mix in the pressure cooker Add one and half to two cups of water Put it on high flame and make it blow 3 whistles Serve hot with rice / roti

Hey Shiva, How do you measure calories in our Indian food. I tried to google and acc. to my search:bonk !1 chappati=60 calorie,1oz. dal 32 calorie,1 egg=90 cal. All this sounds too good to be true. 1rice serving 260 cal. Is this count right.
