    My easy tip here..

Keep wet small towel inside MW and switch power on.
When you open be careful as the towel wil be hot.

This process will steam the insides very well. Just wipe off. Very Simple and easy.

Also when warming foods please place atleast a paper towel on top to cover container so no splashes are made. Or better still like Ansuya suggested a plastic cover if possible.
    Hope this helps.

    Hello, Prabha

I'm glad to be of help. In fact, the plastic cover makes a lot of sense not just because of splattering, but also in preventing the smell of whatever you're re-heating/cooking from remaining inside the microwave for too long.

When food splatters and steam rises from a dish, it can make the inside of the microwave smell until you clean it thoroughly (which we may not have a chance to do every day). It is much easier to wash the plastic cover with the rest of your dishes every day, than the microwave.

I hope you are able to find one in India - I'm sure they must sell them there.

    Ansuya
