Microsoft Certification ! Need Help !

I have been quite slow last month.. Didn't do much reading.. I am planning to finish Chapter 2 (lesson1,2 and 3) in the next few days. Post your updates too. Let's inspire each other

Thanks for replying. Will definately post my progress too. I was just thinking that instead of finishing the whole chapter, we can take small portions and finish them, because the whole chapter will be too big and will definately take time.

To start just take Chp 2, Lesson 1 - till pg 51 (i.e. Wiring up C# Event Handler).

I know its too less but lets try this, if it works next time we will take bigger topics. Do reply if this idea works for you.

Hi,
I managed to take one of these exams few years back and apart from reading the books religiously,brain dumps and practice questions helped a lot. You can find a lot of practice questions in the cd that comes with the book itself and also check for brain dumps(search for brain dumps in google with exam number). Most of the questions are long(given the time constraints, prepare yourself to read and understand the question completely and quickly before thinking about the answer). Otherwise, the exams are easy if you've prepared properly. Also go by the course outline, exam syllabus as mentioned in the certification link and make sure you have covered every single topic. u have shared the 70-562 material. Do you have 70-536 material?the first MCTS exam to be taken. This is my first certification to start with.. can you share the material??

Chapter 2..Les 1 done.. in fact, i'm now on pg-94
Smaller chunks is a good idea.. How abt pg-135 for our next milestone?

Hope you are reading well, I am rushing through. Chapter 2 was just basic controls - was ok to rush through.
We have spent the whole of July for just 2 chapters :-(
We need to speed up..

If you have already written 70-536, it could be ok to continue and write the next exam for an mcts,
but if you have not done 70-536 yet, consider doing your certification on VS2010. You can find details here
