    Hi @Sophiebaggio,

I was also on metformin 500mg tablets twice a day before pregnancy.. My pcos was detected recently..but after confirmation of pregnancy, my doc asked me to stop metformin tablets... I heard that few doctors asked to stop and few asked to continue till 3 months of pregnancy.. My suggestion is to, Trust ur doctor and continue with the specified dosage..

    Sophie,
Its your doctors call only. Mostly doctors prefer to continue metformin in till 12 weeks to ensure the sugar levels will keep under control and won't hinder the growing fetus. Its ok to cut down an the dosage as you might feel more uncomfortable with ongoing pregnancy and its crazy hormones and symptoms.
Don't worry. Just relax and enjoy the pregnancy journey!
