Menorrhagia and D&C

    Hi all,

    I have been suffering from PCOS for nearly 3.5 yrs now.
    I also have a thickened endometrium due to which i suffer from excessive and prolonged bleeding.
    By God's grace i conceived and delivered a baby boy 8 months back.
    Now i got my cycle again and the same excessive and prolonged bleeding pattern is back.
    I checked with my gyn who gave me trapic mf and primolut n to stop the bleeding.
    She also suggested a D&C for the thickened endometrium.
    Has anybody experienced the same or similar problem.
    Please guide me.

    Hi,

    Is it endometriosis?if so,DNC is the good option.I have heard this from 2 of my friends.They have undergone DNC after delivery for prolonged bleeding.BTW,Was it vaginal delivery?

    Hi ChotuMeetu,

    No its not endometriosis. Just a thickened endometrium associated with PCOS.
    It was a C section.
