Wow! Thanks for such a chronological update.
I am not at all a follower of Telugu movies. But I definitely have occasionally heard of name of Chiranjivi. So it raised curiosity to read about him. However, after reading the whole drama I just have sympathies for Mr chiranjivi.

Kids can really pull down parents in enormous measure if they go array. For her I feel she will get it really back once she grows up in her mind. Once this "hidden greed" of her ILs and her own mind realize that they have themselves killed their Golden hen.
It must be so hurtful for Chiranjivi and his family.

Last thing a kid can do to a parent is, make them remorseful of the fact , "They gave birth to this thankless piece of flesh."

    Mega Star Chiranjeevi's House

Megastar chiranjeevi House !! worth around 40crores!

The fresh airs say that it’s worth Rs.38 Crore where the land itself is worth Rs. 9 Crores. He bought almost a hill in Jubilee Hills for the purpose, as he wished to keep his domicile far from any body's reach.

“It’s really a great amusement to see his magnificent house”, say the reliable sources.

There was a very big sandal wood Kaman (big porch) in his house that costs in crores. A state-of-art suave swimming pool in first floor, a very expensive imported quality lifts to reach several floors in his house, exclusive gym, bar, different dining rooms and many steals the eyes of onlookers.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's father succumbed to a heart ailment in the early hours of today. He has been suffering for a few days now. Konedela Venkata Rao was 70 and is survived by his three sons, actors Chiranjeevi, Naga Babu and Pawan Kalyan and two daughters Vijayadurga and Madhavi.
After having retired as an excise inspector, Venkata Rao and his wife Anjani Devi have been living with the megastar.
Though Venkata Rao was initially against his son getting into the film industry, he acted in small roles in films like Mantrigari Viyyankudu, Jagatkiladeelu along with his son.
The last rites will be performed at 5pm today. His eyes have been donated to the Chiranjeevi Eye Bank posthumously.
Various film personalities have been visiting the house of the megastar to express their regards and sympathies. Fans from Chiranjeevi’s home town Mogaltur and all over the state having been coming in large numbers to pay their respects.
C Aswini Dutt, Brahmanandam, Shyam Prasad Reddy, K Raghavendra Rao, Balakrishna, Srikant, SS Rajamouli were among those who came in earlier in the day, as soon as the news was out.

I blame it on the media and no one else.

All media made sure to make hay while it shines.

What's different??? How many girls are eloping because of their parents disagreement. How many makes it so huge that every media reported made profit out of it?

The girl is young and her parents instead of taking the harsh root, must have taken a mature one like gajooling her for years and then make a decision.. But instead they made the matters worse.

Rajini was smart in that.. he made sure that he cannot win this "love" fight and agreed to his daughters wishes to marry 5 years younger guy and has no college education whatsoever (Dhanush is 12th drop out) and Aishwarya is a masters degree holder.

See parents had to understand something. At one point its out of their hands. You can very well see that they are spoiling the life.. you could have brought a very perfect match and all.. but end of the day it is their life and leave it. Let them learn from whatever decisions they make. You can advice them and give them the pros and cons of their choices. but decision is upto them.. we cant force them.. Forcing will just mess up the entire process and there is no use out of it.

Chiranjeevi learnt it the hard way I guess.
