Although feeling happy with our culture, price shock and no time sense is making still
get comfortable here.

Also too much interference from relatives surrendersmiley

After 1 week of MIL bearing.Finally she is off to her native.
I would say it was the worst week in my pregnancy.
I have cried so much the whole week because of her.

Finalized the doc and hospital.
Next appointment in Jan 8th.
Doc said I would feel baby movement by Dec 24th.
But I did feel some kind of kick not sure though but it was bit painful.
Anyone else felt baby movements? Please share.

I hope the thread becomes more active.

Congrats to all moms who have crossed the Half way pregnancy mark.
Wishing each one of you H&H pregnancy.

I am planning to start some knitting or DIY projects.
Anyone interested to join let me know.

Its nice to hear that you are back in India! Dont worry abt ur MIL. All that matters now is the baby So dont take any tension dear. Coz I read that our baby can feel our emotions too.. We want them to be happy all the time right ?


I am in my 17th week and not yet felt any movements.. I am waiting for it too..

I too wish the thread becomes active. Now we need more suggestions from all mommies till the end.. Hope people come in and pour their thoughts...

Have anybody started using anti-stretch mark cream? If so, can you please suggest me one?

glad to know that you are doing well. Don't worry about your MIL, believe me it may get worse after baby is here so it would be best to ignore her and set boundaries right now. You should feel baby movement around 19-20 weeks as a FTM. I felt baby movements around 20 week with last pregnancy and this time I can feel the baby move and kicks are getting stronger by day. Also, I used to look at Baby Nursery Decor, Room Themes, Design Ideas - Project Nursery for nursery inspiration.

Zoya, I used palmers cocoa butter formula moisturizer with last pregnancy. You can look for moisturizers with cocoa / shea butter in it for stretch marks.

And we had anatomy scan (second level ultrasound) yesterday. We are having another BOY !!!

I got my AFP testing results and Doc said I have nothing to worry abt..

I have my next scan in Jan and will come to know whether lil prince or princess

You can get it in Walmart, Walgreens, or any other super store or drug stores.

I am in 19th week now. I am not aware of baby movement. Everyone asking about that.
I dont know how frequently it will occur. how the feel will be. whether while touching will i feel the movement?

I heard tummy rub from mama mio is very good cream for stretch marks.
When I was in Canada ordered online.Although I am having little stretch marks, not sure if cream is maintaining it or naturally I have less now.
So do let me know which one you plan to shop and results.

Me also in 19 week.Doc told me by this week to next(20) I should feel baby movements.I felt little twitch and pain but may be it was a round ligament stretch too.Me also crossing my fingers.Since its first baby I will give it some more time.

The doc India went through my family history and said I need to go for glucose challenge test.She also prescribed protein powder, fish oil.
When the pack arrived it was Amway products not sure if its a decision made for health or involves business, As in Canada nothing like this was prescribed.
For now just going with the flow.Finally getting back to my usual self.
Makes me happy.Looking forward for baby movement and trying to push off Chillout!all negative thoughts.

Anyone started planning/saree purchases for baby shower?

 

Thank you Gae, I won't need to shop much as I have saved everything that my son used. However, I will buy few new clothes as this baby is coming in Summer. I have to also start looking for names. Good to hear that you are feeling little movements, at first it will be like flutters. Also, enjoy shopping for your baby shower.

Hope, all May moms are doing alright. Wish you all Merry Christmas. I may not be able to get on to IL as will be off for Christmas and New Year from today. Yey, finally will be able to enjoy some time with DH and my son.
